Frank checked in for the Tribute out of San Diego. We finished our trip with LIMITS of bluefin tuna and 1 yellowtail.  Most of the fish during the day were 30-60lb and then at night we got into some of the bigger fish that ranged from 80 to 140lbs. Was an epic day of fishing and everyone had a blast.  We will see what the weather brings but hopefully the fish stick around and keep biting like it has been. Frank checked in for the Tribute out of San Diego. We had very good fishing last night with fish up to 200lbs and managed to get Limits of bluefin tuna. Also got 1 yellowfin tuna and 1 yellowtail. 40lb flyline setup was the way to go during the day on fish up to 80lbs.  Please come with a variety of gear, 30lb flyline setup, 50lb flyline setup and a heavier setup for night time fishing. Frank checked in for the Tribute out of San Diego with an afternoon update. We are currently up to 53 bluefin with 4 or 5 haging here, most in the 40-80 pound range. The rest of it is probably 25 pound fish. They are biting very well, and there are still fish around and underneath us. We have a couple hours left to finish in the day time then we'll spend some time in the dark trying to get it done. We'll let you know in the morning how we do. Frank checked in for the Tribute out of San Diego. The Tribute returned this morning from their 1.5 Day trip with 64(limits) Bluefin for their group of 32 anglers. Half of their fish were in the 50-180 pound range with the rest in the 30-50 pound range.

The Tribute is starting to book up but they still have some trips open for at the end of this month.

We currently have 5 on the deck that range from 70 to 160lbs.  Really really nice grade of fish but it has been tough to catch them. Mike checked in for the Tribute out of San Diego with the wrap up report. They located the dorado and wrapped up their 2-day trip with 18 bluefin tuna, 12 yellowtail and 69 dorado for their 25 passengers with bluefin up to 120 pounds!

Made a lot of moves throughout the day, and we started off with some good quality yellowtail.  Then we made a long run to fish for the bluefin tuna in the dark. Nice grade bluefin tuna up to 110lbs. We have 4 on the deck and 2 hanging and a lot of fish around in beautiful warm weather.

Frank checked in for the Tribute out of San Diego. They ended their overnight trip with 12 bluefin tuna and 10 yellowtail. Yellowtail was a really good grade of fish. Tons of fish around which is promising, but it was a tough bite today, they mostly bit on the small jigs like colt snipers and knife jigs.
