Mike checked in from the Tribute out of San Diego. Pretty good yellowtail fishing today for the grade. They are very very nice grade fish. We started at the island and had a dozen fish for the morning, then went offshore and fished a kelp patty and scraped 9 more. The fish are up to 30 pounds maybe a bit bigger. We legitimately had a guy get spooked by a yellowtail on our first stop even with braid! Really nice grade healthy fish to say the least. Hopefully we can find some more of these.
